Our Slovak branch has been entrusted with the complete management of the first completed facility at the Panattoni Park Bratislava North II modern industrial site, located near the village of Zohor. Its main tenant is the Volkswagen automobile company, which will use the site to store components.
The Volkswagen Slovakia facility boasts two new features. For the first time, a pure white facade has been used on a logistics facility, which reduces the temperature inside by up to 7 °C in the summer months and prevents overheating. This is associated with significant energy savings due to the reduced need for cooling on warm days. The second innovation is what we call ‘side loading’. This is an innovative technological solution that enables efficient side loading of material.
The total area of the site, which aspires to the BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification, is 23,800 m². Volkswagen will use 20,000 m², and the remaining space is available for lease. Two more facilities are planned for construction at Panattoni Park Bratislava North II. The park’s developer is our sister company, Panattoni CZ & SK, and the investor is Accolade Group.
